We work from primary sources and review our content on a schedule, but program rules change and mistakes happen. When we get something wrong, we fix it visibly.

How to report an error

Use the form below. Tell us the page and what you believe is wrong. A source helps but isn’t required — we’ll do the verification. Submissions go straight to the editor.

What happens next

We check the claim against primary sources. If you’re right, we correct the page, update its “Reviewed” date, and — for anything more significant than a typo — add a dated correction note at the bottom of the page saying what changed. If the error could have affected a reader’s decision (a wrong deadline, a wrong income limit, a wrong phone number), the correction note stays on the page permanently.

What we don’t quietly change

Factual errors are corrected with a note. Typos and formatting are fixed silently. We do not silently alter recommendations, rankings, or conclusions — if our analysis changes, the page says so and says why.
